Onward Olean plans book for Synapse Matters

The Russell J. Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Bonaventure University has a new major to offer its students: strategic communication and digital media. Students in this major spend one semester of their undergraduate careers in a class called Synapse Matters, a six-credit real-life marketing/advertising agency.

I’m not in the class (though I’d kind of like to be…), but was asked by the professor and several students to put together the class’s final plans book for its client, Onward Olean, a campaign for a revitalization project in downtown Olean, N.Y. I moved it from a Microsoft Word file to an InDesign file and made a very simple, clean design. I can’t take credit for any of the content (logos, text, etc.) other than the placement of objects, basic design that weaves throughout the book and some of the typos/grammatical errors I caught during my brief read through.
