In a matter of three hours, Sam and I cooked up this creative résumé for him to take with him on our trip to New York City.

Creative résumés are made to stand out. Since Sam and I are creatives trying to get into the advertising business (or communications, for me), our résumés have to stand out. That said, they’re definitely not for everyone. Make yours creative if you don’t want potential employers to look past yours and onto someone else’s. Adjust your design according to whatever job you apply for. It can’t hurt to show a little bit of who you are on that one sheet of paper.
